Tessafold is seeking an experienced Certified AWS Solution Architect, Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on the AWS platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures
- Implement and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and CloudFormation
- Design and implement security, compliance, and governance controls in AWS
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems to ensure availability and performance
- Optimize costs by leveraging AWS pricing models, reserved instances, and spot instances
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of architecture processes and methodologies
Requirements:
- Certified AWS Solution Architect, Associate certification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing systems on AWS
- Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and CloudFormation
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as VPC, VPN, and Direct Connect
- Experience with security, compliance, and governance controls in AWS
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as CloudWatch and Splunk
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Git
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends
